This is now Day 30 of my 30 Day Thai Street Food Challenge. This should have been my last day but I need to add three more meals as I was invited to attend a few food events this month. This morning I had pad prik yuak gup gai (ผัดพริกหยวกกับไก่), which is green bell pepper with chicken. Too many onions in this dish for my liking but still good. This cost 20 baht.
For lunch I had another stir-fried meal on rice. This was pad prik gai sai makua (ผัดพริกไก่ใส่มะเขือ), which is spicy stir fried chicken with eggplant. This cost only 25 baht which includes the rice.
I bought my evening meal at the local Muslim stall. They always have good curries on Thursdays and Fridays. Tonight I had gaeng gai sai noh mai (แกงไก่ใส่หน่อไม), which is chicken curry with bamboo shoots. To be honest the chicken was more bone than meat but what do you expect for 30 baht. I paid an extra 5 baht for some rice.
Today I spent 80 baht on food. This is about $2.64.

This is now the final day of my Thai Street Food Challenge. I managed to get to the end without repeating any dishes. In fact, just over 100 different dishes were consumed this month alone! For breakfast this morning I had mee kati (หมี่กะทิ), which is stir-fried thin pink noodles cooked in coconut milk. This cost 25 baht.
For lunch I had a vegetarian dish that I sometimes like cooking myself. It is pad soba (ผัดโซบะ), which is stir-fried soba noodles with mushrooms and tofu. This cost 25 baht.
For dinner tonight I finally had the white noodles which are often eaten with curries instead of rice. This is khanom jeen nam ya kati (ขนมจีนน้ำยากะทิ), which is fermented rice noodles served with a coconut curry and raw vegetables on the side. This was 25 baht.
My final snack today is the popular khanom bueang (ขนมเบื้อง), which is a crispy pancake with coconut cream and various toppings that include shredded cocนnut and egg yolk. Three of these cost me 20 baht.
Today I spent 95 baht on food. This is about $3.14.
