This is now the final day of my Thai Street Food Challenge. I managed to get to the end without repeating any dishes. In fact, just over 100 different dishes were consumed this month alone! For breakfast this morning I had mee kati (หมี่กะทิ), which is stir-fried thin pink noodles cooked in coconut milk. This cost 25 baht.

For lunch I had a vegetarian dish that I sometimes like cooking myself. It is pad soba (ผัดโซบะ), which is stir-fried soba noodles with mushrooms and tofu. This cost 25 baht.

For dinner tonight I finally had the white noodles which are often eaten with curries instead of rice. This is khanom jeen nam ya kati (ขนมจีนน้ำยากะทิ), which is fermented rice noodles served with a coconut curry and raw vegetables on the side. This was 25 baht.

My final snack today is the popular khanom bueang (ขนมเบื้อง), which is a crispy pancake with coconut cream and various toppings  that include shredded cocนnut and egg yolk. Three of these cost me 20 baht.

Today I spent 95 baht on food. This is about $3.14.
