The pictures we have taken and the blogs we have written about Thai food have helped thousands of people from around the world to enjoy Thai food more. However, the ultimate in experiencing Thai hawker food from the comfort of your own living room are the Thai Cooking videos. The following videos are free for you to download. They are recorded "live" on the streets of Thailand. These are not studio videos. This is the real thing. Visit the Thai Food Forums to see the latest news about these videos.

Use the following links to download the free videos. Some of the files are quite large so you really need to have a good internet connection. If you would like to have better quality videos (full screen) and also help support the running of this web site then you can purchase a CD of these video clips.

SET ONE:

1. Pad Thai (Thai style fried noodles) *

(17 MB) 5011 downloads
2. Som Tam (papaya salad) (6 MB) 25786 downloads

4. Khanom Jaak (4 MB) 10323 downloads

* Some webmasters have been linking straight to the video files instead of this page. These people are bandwidth thieves. In the last few days, there were over 2000 downloads of the pad thai video. Only 5% of the people who downloaded this video did so from our web site. Most of those people don't know anything about our website which is a shame. The bandwidth thieves have brought us very close to the upper limit for data transfer. As the fines for going over are very expensive (we were fined $530 last month) we have decided to discontinue the pad thai video for the time being.
